Mentored Matric Entry level mentoring for Further Education and Training Preparing students for University admissionCalvary offeres a comprehensive programme for University admission to mentor high school pupils through the FET phases of grades 10, 11 and 12 towards writing a Matric exam. Our Matric Exam may also be taken by Tuition Centres operating under the Calvary Academics banner or centres who are accredited by the IEB, Cambridge or BCVO (South Africa), all of which are recognised by CQA. Students who wish to do an in-depth study with advanced full-colour text books published to an international standard (Pearson Education) with e-learning resources and online testing can take the following subjects:
The language subject caries 20 credits and all other subjects 16. To achieve the international subjects endorsement to the Calvary Academics certificate, students must enrol for three subjects from this list for 12 extra credits each. These credits are all offered at level 5 and may count towards 36 credits in a first level Certificate in the Bachelor of Arts programme. Matric Qualification RequirementCalvary university accepts a Matric Qualification if it complies to the following requirement:. A first and a second language (at least one must be taken on first laguage level), and a further five subjects of the above list. Students are encouraged to take two of the natural and or social sciences, but this is not a requirement. Local government requirements should be adhered to. Calvary university will endorse a Matric Qualification:. Three of the above courses which are chosen as standard subjects must be chosen to be completed for twelve additional credits. The prescribed Pearson Edication text book and resource CD material must be used and three Module tests per subject must be written on a provided internet test writing facility.
